lyrics
Out from the cold,
Welcomed into our home,
We saw that they were fed,
But soon we would be dead
Warm was thy hearth,
To save from frozen hands,
We filled their flasks with wine,
But none shall rest this night
Cold, the wind in the pine,
Cast out with nowhere to go,
The heart of the earth's turned stone,
There's blood in the River Coe
Put all to the sword
Out from the night,
We offered our homestead,
Some fled through the snow,
While some, cut down in their beds,
**"Cruel is the snow that sweeps Glencoe,
And covers the grave O' Donald,
Cruel was the foe that raped Glencoe,
And murdered the house O' MacDonald"**

As someone else said, I normally don't particularly care for Winterfylleth. There's nothing bad about the band at all, they just don't 'do anything' for me. This album is absolutely stunning and a real treasure, and it would be wonderful if these guys did another pure folk/acoustic album in the future. Archmage Orladin
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023
An outstanding slab of atmospheric black metal, “Sisyphus” cannily blends texture and terror for a gripping final product. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2021
Impressionant black metal medieval français!
Je l'ai tellement écouté que je connais les paroles par coeur!
Les riffs de guitares sont magnifique.
Les différents instruments utilisés donennt encore plus de charme à l'album. Bress
